3Dprinted knee pads: design replacement
I looked into knee pads used for roller skating and skateboarding as a design replacement project.
I decided to make them thinner, more flexible and discreet as those were the main reason I found young users weren’t wearing the protective gear. To do so I researched different 3D printers and methods to print flexible material. I then printed these knee pads on the HP Jet Fusion.

The knee pads are thin so they can go over or under the users' pants if they desire more discretion
